A Merrimack Valley native, Dr. Daryl Silva, DPM was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts.
He studied Podiatry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the largest and most respected schools of Podiatric medicine and surgery in the country. He went on to complete his residency at a large nearby Level I trauma-center, Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Silva then had the honor of serving as Chief Resident his final year.
With his strong personal and familial ties to Massachusetts Dr. Silva endeavored to return to the area.
He is trained in conservative and surgical Podiatry with significant experience in forefoot, rearfoot, trauma surgery, and wound-care.
Dr. Silva has produced research on soft tissue tumors, post operative pain control in forefoot surgery, and a technique guide for complex rearfoot fusion accepted by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons respectively.
In his spare time Dr. Silva enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and is an avid film lover.
